Neonatal Resuscitation

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation of a neonate is of high importance for healthcare professionals that work in NICUs and assist in the delivery room. The nurse will learn and train on neonatal CPR protocols, both basic and advanced and on special conditions if CPR is required such as CPR in multiple delivery, extremely low birth weight neonates and meconium aspiration syndrome. The nurse will know how to act as a member of the resuscitation team and the skill of intubation.
